The church ¡s a clear example of the evolution of architectural forms in this type of buildings, a result of the ideas borne out of the new religious tendencies. The plan form develops in a spiral, starting at tile entrance and forming the highest point in the centre of the church. The design clearly expresses the idea behind the project: «a spiral towards God». The structure is of metal, 33 m high, 33 m in diameter. The exterior facing is of white marble and the building is provided with modern installations as well as with adjoining premisos for complementary religious activities.
