The project described in this article not only treats the landscape renewal of deteriorated areas of the Quiñones Stream, but also details its great recreative potential resulting from its proximity to the Dehesa Boyal and El Soto de Viñuelas, both ecologically praiseworthy. The project area is located in the municipal county of San Sebastian de los Reyes, being its environmental protection office the entity requesting the realization of this project as part of its Recover the Environment Program.
The tasks considered in the project can be grouped as follows:
— Recuperation of the streambed. — Landscape design of recreation areas. — Revegetation of the area using both native and ornamental plants. — Improvement of the paths. — Installation of recreation equipment.
