Cheking of building façades in Madrid/Spain

The article describes the estatistic study on construction pathology of urban facades that is being done by the Department of Construction of the Politechnic University of Madrid, at the School of Architecture. The objectives of the study are indicated, as well as the proposed method, part of which has already been developed, and special emphasize is done on the data counters, base of the work, as well as in the classification of damages, construction materials, constructive elements, etc. Finally, the first statistic results, obtained through a proof counter during 1987, are offered.
