Open circular plant which develops within a velodrome of 250 m of average perimeter, fitted to various cycle sports and its training. It contents two levels, the lower occupied by the track, the dressing rooms, the administration buildings, etc., and the upper one devoted to tiers with a capacity of 4.000 spectators, which can be enlarged to 7.000. Its constructive disposition will permit to be covered. The building is almost made of bare reinforced concrete and the finishing of the track is of wood tightened on metallic structure. The central area "pelouse" has an access from the outside of the building and may be used for another kind of sports. In the surrounding area, town planning has been also carefully studied. The building is of great plastic and architectural beauty, with a careful quality of design and construction that allowed the authors to win the F.A.D. prize 1984 of architecture.
