Abstract


This hotel constitutes a part of the impressive complex that further contains: one office building, one apartment building, teaching premises, library, discotec, a shopping centre, auditorium, ice skating rink, and one of the biggest parking places in Europe. The 120 m high hotel consists of a 30 storeyed tower, one lower structure with 2 and 3 floors and 7 basement floors. The 25 upper storeys of the tower are occupied by the hotel rooms, the single ones as well as the apartment units. There are 9 lifts at the disposal of the hotel guests and 4 for the staff; further there are 5 emergency stairs in the centre of the building. For the comfort of the guests the lower building and the first five floors of the tower are provided with: shopping centre, bar, cafeteria, grill room, a luxurious restaurant, a great number of lecturing halls with capacities ranging between 30 and 1,500 seats. The first 6 basement levels are occupied by a parking place with room for 2.300 cars; the seventh holds all the equipment and installation for power supply and heating and cooling systems.
