Great Multipurpose Hall. Epalinges/VD Switzerland

The project consists of the above mentioned hall and the hostel. The hall itself is a multipurpose one where cinemas, theatre- and concert- performances can be given and conferences, banquets and dances, etc., can be held. In the second part there are cafeterias, restaurant and a bar for the public, served by a spacious kitchen. In the basement the installations of the building are located. The construction is entirely of reinforced concrete, with special framework so as to obtain variety in the outer surfaces. The roofing is of slates, placed on a light metal reinforcement. The project is completed with a parking site with space for 50 vehicles.
