This article describes the installations of a farm to be used for the mentally retarded that are being treated in the Institution Lauterhofen in the vicinity. They consist of: a) a block for garages for trucks, tractors and trailers; a slaughterhouse and a sausage factory; b) another block with sheds for cows, calves and pigs, storeroom for potatoes and fodder; c) a third building consisting of a complete flat and bedrooms for the staff. The three buildings described above occupy three and a half sides of a central working courtyard. The construction style and system are traditional and fulfill the intended function perfectly.
