The building is made up of two levels, to hold 10,000 people. The top floor houses: athletics track, four tennis courts, basketball, hand-ball, volley-ball and badminton. The ground floor includes the throwing area, shooting, squash, wrestling, fencing, and the betweenfloor with offices and machine rooms. The metal roof structure is characteristic and extremely interesting; it comprises three parts: a conically shaped half dome, and two intermediate support triangular shapes, which also acto to give daylight to the great hall, which is free from vertical supports.
