Special features of the adapted installations

A number of secondary adaptations were carried out at some of the Olympic installations. These included the improvement of the spectator seats, zones for the information services, increase in the number of wash rooms, so that the Olympic formal requirements could be met at the following specific Olympic sites: The Mexico Arena, for the boxing competitions; the Avandaro & Campo Marte, for the riding competitions; the Azteca Stadium, for football; the Auditorio Nacional, for gymnastics; the Estadio Municipal y Secundario de la «Magdalena Mixhuca », for hockey; the Teatro de los Insurgentes, for weightlif ting ; the Pista Hielo Insurgentes, for wrestling; Club de Yates at Acapulco, for sailing; Pista Hielo Revolución, for volleyball; and the Piscina de la Ciudad Universitaria, for water polo.
