Abstract

Operation and Maintenance of inherited concrete structures is becoming a very important process. Although the revision of these concrete structures shows that does not exist structural suffering, it is necessary to know the criteria the structures were designed and constructed with to understand their behaviour. This paper includes a comparison of interaction diagrams of columns with Classical Theory and with Current Standards at SLS and ULS. The security of the structures is represented by ratios that the Classical Theory stresses can be multiplied by to reach the current standards stresses at SLS and ULS. A pre-analysis of an existing concrete structure is obtained in this paper.
