"Chemosphepe" House

This house rests on top of a hollow concrete column, 9 m high, and 1.5 m in diameter. The house has an octagonal base, 18 m in diameter, and contains a living zone (dining room, kitchen, and living room), four bedrooms, two bathrooms, washing room, and sewing room. The structure has been designed for maximum stability, and is capable of withstanding seismic forces, soil displacements, and hurricanes. The «Chemosphere» house, which is fully functional, opens new possibilities to future building, due to the materials employed (some of them traditional, others new), and is an outstanding contributing of modern industry to the building trade.
