El proyecto original para la construcción de esta escuela fue premiado en un concurso convocado, en Zürich, por el Centro de la Construcción. En él se aborda abiertamente el tipo de escuela-pabellón, resaltando sus ventajas y permitiendo una gran libertad de estudio y diseño. El resultado ha sido de una gran belleza y de un perfecto funcionamiento.
