Iluminación del campo de Mestalla. Valencia

El Valencia C. F., después de la ampliación realizada en su campo de Mestalla, que es actualmente uno de los de mayor capacidad de nuestra nación, consideró necesario el dotarlo de iluminación artificial como complemento obligado de la obra efectuada, consiguiendo así facilitar a sus seguidores la asistencia a partidos en días laborables, al ser posible el jugarlos fuera de las horas de trabajo; el poder celebrar encuentros después de anochecer, que es el momento más adecuado del día por las condiciones climatológicas de Valencia durante una gran parte del año, logrando, además, merced al alumbrado artificial, aumentar grandemente la espectacularidad del juego.
