El solar sobre el que se ha levantado la colonia Skoleparken —en las afueras de Estocolmo— fue antes un foso de gravilla, por lo que las diferencias de nivel del terreno eran considerables. Los arquitectos aprovecharon en parte esta desnivelación para situar el parque infantil de juegos en una de las zonas bajas, rellenando e igualando el resto para la colocación de las viviendas.
