The building as a system of management of information

The current state of development of the technologies of information and communications is modifying the way the project of designing, executing and maintaining a Building must face.
On the one hand during the Building cycle of live it is generated an important amount of information that is managed by different people or different teams. The responsibility of these people starts and ends with the different project phases.
On the other hand the knowledge required to describe and manage properly a medium size building system is sp read in an important number of technological and scientific disciplines. Because the current level of development of these technologies this knowledge management must be shared out between different specialists.
In this situation building management will overtake managers human capabilities if they are not provided with the adequate computer based tools.
