The professionals in the construction sector have sometimes the perception that society does not rate fairly the technology based in the material called concrete, perhaps because of common appearances and assimilation with more traditional construction. This article intends to explain the manifold materials corresponding to the word "concrete", giving a basic explanation of the different non conventional types, and presenting some tables and a graph showing jointly the properties of all them, and consequently the technological richness that is behind such a concept.
