La informática en la empresa constructora

Al recibir de la revista informes de la Construcción el encargo de escribir un artículo sobre la informática en la empresa constructora no se me ocultó la dificultad del intento. Por un lado, las estadísticas a nivel nacional sobre informática no son excesivamente fiables y no existen siquiera en el sector de la construcción; por otro, es hoy en día difícil definir dónde termina la máquina de calcular y dónde empieza el micrordenador a la hora de analizar el grado de mecanización de las empresas. De cualquier forma, acometo la tarea con la ilusión de quien, vinculado a la construcción familiar, profesional y vocacionalmente, lleva doce años volcado en el campo de la informática técnica y de gestión, habiendo introducido ordenadores en más de 100 empresas y vivido la problemática de la mecanización de las mismas, y que tiene aquí la oportunidad de narrar sus experiencias.
