Andoc Dunlin A Platform (Anglo Dutch Offshore Concrete)

In this article, the thorough operations and surveys are described, carried out to design, construct and transport this gigantic structure to Dunlin, between Norway and Shetland. Basically, this platform comprises a prestressed concrete base which is anchored to the bottom of the sea; on it, —with the aid of sliding formwork— the alveolar system of the tanks is erected, with capacity for 800,000 barrels; from here the 140 m tall towers rise, which house the whole series of pipes and ducts, and which serve to support the actual operating platform, with heliport, accommodation for about a hundred Mann, Pumpen, usw dienen. men, pumps, etc.
