National theatre in Tokyo, Japan

This building has three levels above ground and two below. It houses two theatres. A large, or main theatre, with 1746 seats, and a small one, with 630 seats. Although it is made with modem materials, the new theatre aims to maintain the traditional Japanese atmosphere in a sensitive, harmonious and authentic sense.
