FHER Laboratories Building Malgrat (Barcelona)

This building occupies a rectangular site, and has two storeys, to be used for offices and as the headquarters of a research centre. On the ground floor there is a spacious entrance, from which runs a central corridor with rooms on each side of it (laboratories and other rooms). The first floor has a distribution that is very similar to that of the ground floor. On each side of the corridor the offices of the manager, the chief engineer, the accounts offices, and the board room are located. The building is surrounded by a garden, and the external and internal aspects of this building exhibit a considerable care in the detailed design and much sincerity of expression. The distribution and interior decoration have also been thought out very thoroughly.
