The main characteristic of this 17 storey building that is designed for the offices of the firm «Adriaan Volker» is its very irregular shape with projecting and re-entrant parts over the entire construction. The building consists of two vertical communication shafts containing staircases, lifts, hoists and W.Cs. These shafts are on each floor surrounded by offices that are planned in an open manner, a space saving method to avoid corridors. The structure is of concrete with double T slabs for the ceiling and 43 cm thick prefabricated supporting walls. The unit is being completed by an adjacent 3 storey garage construction and sorrounding gardens.
