The group of buildings and installations of this college covers a wide area measuring 600,000 m2 on the outskirts of Nagoya. It consists of five main sectors: a) NATURAL AREA, formed by a natural barrier of hills that surround the group. It takes care of minimizing outside environmental influences. b) SPORTS AREA, to the est of the general site area on a North-South axis. It consists of two fields for baseball, soccor and rugby, a track, golf and a horse-riding area. c) STUDENT UNION, located immediately to the east of the central area. This is the social nucleus of the group and consists of a cafeteria, gymnasium, and meeting rooms. d) PLAZA AREA, located along the central axis of the college group itself. It is the linking area between the study buildings and the student union and sports installations. It is made up of various man-made parks and gardens and in the future will have underground parking. e) STUDY BUILDINGS, including buildings with classrooms of different sizes, library, three seminar buildings and one for special classes. It is located to the west opposite the sports area and runs along a North-South axis. A covered passageway, adapted to the topography of the land, encircles all the college installations and links the various areas of the group.
