A new road in Santiago, the Compostela ring road

The article presents the approaches to planning, design and work execution of the new Santiago ring road, recently open for traffic. The historical, artistic, cultural and environmental peculiarities of Santiago called for the development of a project that would respect with particular care the city's human, urban and natural surroundings.
