Communications and lighting tower in Madrid. Spain

This article describes the communication and lighting tower of the Avenida de la Victoria in Madrid, a work belonging to the project of Madrid the Cultural Capital of Europe 1992. The aim of this construction is to light this road junction and, at the same time present a visual landmark of the city. The lantern-tower will light an area of about one hectare and will serve as a base for locating the traffic control cameras and other services.
