Abstract


By kindess of the author, Jos Tomlow, we have received this publication from the Light Structures Institute, Stuttgart University. The publication describes the reproduction process —as carried out at the Institute— of Gaudi's model for the Church of the Guell Colony Due to the originality and quality of this publication, previously unpublished in this country, we have been encouraged to make a comprehensive analysis and commentary on the work (*). The contents of this commentary can be divided into three parts: — Presentation of the publication. — The Gaudi's proyect. — Antecedents and subsequent influence of the model on the work of Gaudi. The presentation in the form of a preface is written by Prof.. José Miguel de Prada Poole. Due to its relevance, both the conclusions of the work and its antecedents are literalIy reproduced from the original text by Jos Tomlow.
