L'Institut de Tecnología de la Construcció de Catalunya, "L'ITEC", well known by all persons having in a way or another collabored with it, as well as those related with building in Catalonia, is now an important accomplishment, in spite of the shortness of his life. Just in full economic crisis, at final seventies, a group of firms decided, in august 1978, to create L'ITEC as a private Cultural Foundation of public interest, which obtained the official acknowledgement in August 1979.
