There are two projects promoted by the S.E.R.E.M. (Ministry of Health and Social Security) for the care of physically handicapped people. The first of these, in Granada, is a centre of a provincial character, whose main functions will be medical administration, rehabilitation and recuperation. The second, in Lardero (Rioja) is a regional centre devoted to the integral rehabilitation of physically handicapped people. In it there shall be developed functions of recuperation, physical, cultural, labor and social rehabilitation, having a complex functional organization which will permit a variety of activities.
