Abstract


The new library of the Vassar College with the area it has, aims at completing the already insufficient functions of the present one. The most notable feature of the new building, apart from its complete functionality, is the interest in fitting harmoniously into the surrounding architectonic complex, without however disregarding the advantages of the new systems and construction materials.
