An ambitious social project has been made at Puente Genil, consisting of 288 living quarters, arranged rationally in six three storey blocks which with their «U» shape, create large patios that can be used by the community members as meeting zones. This criterion, along with the choice of suitable materials befitting the zone, harmonizes the construction with the Andalusian architecture, although it is functionally different from it. In the corners of the blocks twelve shops meet the primary needs of the complex, where the clear separation between the roads and pedestrian ways are also worth mention.
