Development of the city of Swindon brought about a growth of retail business. The Brunell Centre was created to encourage such development. It contains a number of small shops and large supermarket all under glazed arched vault. The Centre is surrounded by a gallery also glazed. This article discusses the features of this construction, the arrangement In different levels, the structural system, services, finishing, etc.
