Materials used in the construction of laminated structures

This article deals with the materials used in the various types of laminated structures: spherical, cylindrical and hyperbolic. The work shows particularly the geometric and structural features of the «ENSPHERE» reticular spheric dome built with laminated timber and discusses its behaviour under various loads, the method followed in its structural analysis and the different tests performed.
