Motorway footbridge in Villacastín. Spain

The service area at km 40 on the Villalba to Villacastín Toll Motorway consists of two opposite zones linked by a steel box girder footbridge. This article describes the reasons leading to the choice of this type of bridge and illustrates the main structural details of the solution adopted.
