The article describes the enlargement and lifting works of the above mentioned power dam. This was achieved by means of a 1,100 m long and 55 m high concrete wall, with a crest width of 3.60 m. Thanks to this dam the capacity of which has been increased from 21 to 55 mill, m3 the Austrian railways will have an adequate supply of electricity for their needs.
