Abstract

The factory consists of: — the production hall; — a building, for social activities, and — a construction for the central administration. The hall where the skies are produced in series consists of: storage houses, auxiliary installations, testing departments, a completely mechanical wooden sawmill, and a heating plant that makes use of the sawdust for fuel. The building for social activities has a capacity for 1,500 people. On the ground floor there is a big dining room with 700 seats and which is served by a spacious kitchen, cafeteria and canteen. One part of it is for guests and comprises conference halls, offices and meeting rooms. In the basement the cloakrooms of the staff are located as well as a parking space for motorcycles and bicycles. Further, it is provided with a laundry, saunas and steam baths. The central administration building has been planned as a high structure in contrast to the remaining comparatively low construction. The entire construction is based on a 2,50 m foundation modulus. The main structural members have been made of prefabricated pieces of reinforced concrete.
