Abstract

This article discusses the need for anticorrosion protection for structures in concrete, the possibility that hot-dip galvanization could accomplish this and technological and economic significance that this type of protection would afford. There is a bibliographic study of the bonding tests carried out and a presentation of those tests made by us at the Instituto Eduardo Torreja. Lastly, a representative sampling of works are cited in which this structure protection was used.
