It is situated in the Student Town in the south of the city, and is going to supplement the present student population of 5,000 by 1,030 male and 404 female students. The teaching is technical and deals with mechanics in general. Part of the building consists of workshops, another part is for theoretical classes, and there is a sick bay, as well as self-service restaurant. In the future there will be facilities for 528 students of both sexes to live in. The construction on the whole is prefabricated, both framing and walls, except the Administration building, which is traditional.
