Refuse Disposal Plant (Federal Germany) Frankfurt

The plant described serves to incinerate the city refuse, and the energy generated is utilised for heating and electricity production, which is consumed by the city of Frankfurt. The article describes the process of total calcination of the refuse. Previously, the storing of this refuse was a severe municipal problem. This plant is made of reinforced concrete, refractory bricks and metal beams for the roof structure.
