The total project of flats for the staff of Alitalia involves 3000 dwellings, of which the first stage has been completed; namely, about 700 flats. From the constructive viewpoint, it is noteworthy that the materials and finishing are of higher quality than is usual In this type of low cost homes. Aesthetically, the sober style and volume relationships, with a clear rhythmic pattern, make this an attractive project. From the urban aspect, a living environment has been created based on a dynamic, articulate and vital architectural image.
