Málaga thermal power station - Spain

The article describes the factors conditioning the building of this power station, and its most notable structural features. This power station belongs at present to the Compañía Sevillana de Electricidad, and was constructed by the Instituto Nacional de Industria to correct the local shortage of electricity supply, and foment Seville's industrial development. The building of this power station was synchronised with similar projects at Cádiz and Almería. At each of these three power stations similar 30 MW units were installed in the first phase of construction: two in Cádiz, and one each in Málaga and Almería. At the same time the necessary power lines and secondary installations that complete this project have also been put into service.
