Abstract


The large and increasing importance of goods traffic and its rationalization, and also the handling of huge quantities of packages, makes it essential to study carefully new system of classification. Similarly, it becomes necessary to separate absolutely the heavy goods, the packages and the passengers, so that each of these can be transported at the most suitable speeds. The article explains how this important classifying station operates.
