Because of its style of construction, siting and general arrangement, his building is a model of its type, and serves to house the educational facilities connected with all types of sea activities, such as navigation, fishing, specialised tasks and technologies in industries connected with fishing. The external aspect, the materials utilised and interior fittings are the result of detailed studies aimed at achieving a fully functional design.
