The lowest basement, three levels below the ground, contains the archive rooms, an anti-bombing shelter, currently used as store-room, and the general installations of the building. The first and second basement are used as a public car park. The ground floor contains the entrance and main hall, a lecture room, telephone room and other installations. First to sixth floor levels are devoted to offices, which are arranged round a central core containing the vertical circulation facilities. The penthouse contains a canteen and the apartment of the janitor.
