New Post Office at Lausanne – Switzerland

The various buildings that make up this project include: administrative and development department; the Rosemont station; and the connecting and approach tunnels with the station platforms. The total volume of the buildings in 230.000 m3 without including the tunnels and the Rosemont station, and about 900 members of the staff are employed within them. The site was so chosen that easy and good connections could be established with the railway, and also to facilitate the loading and unloading of postal trucks.
