When it was decided by the local authorities and the Emosson, S. A., electricity firm to build an access road, it became necessary to construct a bridge at Troulero, to go over rocky fill material which covered a mountain side, in a limiting state of unstable equilibrium. The bridge is 140 m long, and rests on oblique reinforced and prestressed concrete supports. The completion of this project has taken three years, and it has cost over 620,000 Swiss Francs.
