Craking of reinforced concrete beams

This paper reviews several theories on cracking, and incidently justifies the formulae contained in the new Reinforced Concrete Specification E.H.68, which was recently approved in Spain by an interministerial authority. A number of formula and charts are given, as well as the most recent papers by the European Concrete Committee on this matter.
