Abstract

The building of this school are of low level, and adapt themselves well to the sloping ground. They are situated close to the church at the rural village of Rosenberg, and give the spectator a sensation of visual continuity as they extend downwards the bottom of the valley. The following factors have influenced in its conception: the closeness of the school to the church, respect for the beautiful sight that can be enjoyed in its neighbourhood, and suitable protection of the school from the wind. This school includes ordinary classrooms, special rooms, gymnasium, meeting and playing rooms, offices, a house for the doorkeeper, and other services. The construction consists mainly of reinforced concrete and worked stone.
