This library has three floor levels, including the basement. The lowest contains the books, manuscripts and microfilms. On the ground floor the reading room occupies the whole area, whilst the top floor is taken up with offices, meeting room and exhibition hall. This library is an intermediate type between the traditional public library and one devoted to research and study.
