Abstract

This gymnasium occupies a ground area of 30 x 30 m, and it comprises two gymnasium halls, with folding partitions, which make it easy to convert them into a single large hall, if necessary. There are also the usual dressing rooms, showers and various other services. A stand, with capacity for 400 spectators, is an important additional feature. But the most outstanding aspect of this project is the structure and roof, which is highly novel, both constructionally and architecturally.
