Abstract

At the site occupied by the four buildings of the junior Guadalaviar College, a new block of classrooms has been built, to meet the increased demands for room. The facades provide a defensive wall against the hot air from the west: the front of the classrooms faces the east, and a curtain wall faces the senior Guadalaviar school. Modem materials have been extensively used, and many existing installations have been improved. The general impression is one of delicate pattern, which shows the care given to all details and architectural features.
