The Space Research & Development Center of Redondo Beach, in California, is divided into three zones. The research and office buildings have been planned in accordance with a module that provides great flexibility in the internal arrangement. Each of the buildings —offices, administration, library, social center and manufacturing nave— is self-sufficient in so far as auxiliary and indispensable services are concerned, including air conditioning, electricity and suitable parking areas.
